PRODUCTION SCHEDULE

Artist Forums: La Colectiva, cordially invites the public to attend the first public Artist Forum at Ruta Maya Riverwalk (107 E. Martin) on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 8PM. Admission is free. Colectiva will be hosting quarterly Artist Forums during the 2007-2008 season; these forums are public meetings held to engage artists and community members in dialogue. Local artists will discuss ideas for new community arts projects and will have an opportunity to network with each other. Artists and the community at large are invited to become members of Colectiva, learn more about the organization and join our Resource Sharing Network.  Additional forum dates scheduled quarterly include: February 25, May 19, and July 21, 2008.

365 Days/ 365 Plays by Suzan-Lori Parks: Suzan-Lori and her producer Bonnie Metzger have taken Parks' plays and turned them into a year long festival where theatres all across the United States can premiere them at the same time. Each of the 52 organizations in every hub were given a week to perform seven plays. La Colectiva will be performing Week 1 of 365 Days/ 365 Plays at Ruta Maya Riverwalk on Sunday, November 19, 2006 during their 1st annual fundraiser.

Legends Alive!: An interactive storytelling performance with music for students grades K-5. The storyteller is performed by Marisela Barrera and music performed by Jai & Azul. Legends Alive! was created at the Dallas Theater Center and has played in over 100 venues in North Texas. It now makes it's home in the heart of Texas: San Antonio! Performance includes legends and music from Mexico and Latin America. Touring Performance Available for your school or community event.
