La Colectiva's 1st Annual Fundraiser "Menudo Mix": La Colectiva and its partners bring to you for the very first time "Menudo Mix" a fundraiser. Come laugh it up with Comedia-A-Go, enjoy performances by La Colectiva Performance Group, and dance to music by our DJs and musicians. Artwork by our local artist will be sold during our silent auction. Sunday, November 19, 2006. Doors open at 6pm at Ruta Maya Riverwalk. Tickets are $10. Bring some extra cash for a bottomless bowl of Menudo and drinks.

Week 2 of 365 Days/ 365 Plays: This week was chosen as a design project by the UTSA Architecture Students Junior Class. Performed by UTSA Students and Directed by Miriam R. Leal. Show starts at 8pm at the Blue Star Complex.

Cantina Posada: The Former Violations (Alamo City Roller Girls) perform 365 Days/365 Plays as part of a posada on the St. Mary's Strip. Venture into your gritty holiday spirit call 210.200.8558 for more information.

Necio Navidad: Come enjoy Backyard Teatro perform Week 6 of 365 Days/365 Plays at 3800 Gettysburg in San Antonio. There will be other performances by Backyard Teatro as well as goodies and gifts. Doors open @ 9pm. No charge. Donations welcomed.

The Mexorcist 2: America's Most Wanted Inner Demon: a performance featuring Guillermo Gomez-Pena and local locos Marisela Barrera, Pablo Martinez, and Rita Urquijo- Ruiz. October 6, 2007 8PM @ UTSA, Downtown Campus Buena Vista Building, 501 W. Durango Blvd. Theatre (BV 1.326) Part of the Latino Genius Reunion Event.

Latino Genius: Locos, Dreamers, and Visionaries: is a three-day event created by the MacArthur Genius Latino recipients including Sandra Cisneros and Guillermo Gomez-Pena. For more information and schedule of the event visit www.sandracisneros.com.

SMART Fair: a free day of visual and performance arts and hands on activities. October 13 - Second Saturday. 1906 Flores. The Goal is to Educate, the Inspiration is Community, and the hope is create artistic appreciation. La Colectiva is coordinating the performance aspect of SMART. Click here for more information.
